Oil pressure lamp is turned
on. Low oil pressure

(it may be low or high)
Check oil level. Ensure that it is
in proper level.
There may be leaks in the
lubrication system
Repair the leaks properly.
Excessive heat lamp is
turned on. Engine is
overheated.
Sea water inlet is clogged.
Clean the blocked filters and
pump inlets. Provide sea water
intake in the required amount.
Inadequate engine coolant level.
Check the engine coolant level
from expansion tank and add
coolant.
Cooling system pipes or hoses may
be twisted, punched or leaking from
connection points
Check the connection points to
repair properly and remove the
leaks
V-belt driving the engine coolant
circulation pump is slackened
Adjust the V-belt slackness
properly, adjust the belt sag to 6-
8mm.
Engine coolant circulation pump is
faulty
Contact an authorized dealership.
Siphon kit is not working.
Ensure that the siphon kit is
drained and operates properly.
Sea Water Pump Internal Gear
(Impeller) is faulty.
Replace the internal gear with a
new one.
Heat exchanger may be blocked
and dirty
Remove the heat exchanger and
clean it properly.
There may be a blockage in the
installation connection points on
the body of the sea vessel
Check for any blockage. Clean
when required.
Thermostat may be faulty.
Replace the thermostat.
There may be a blockage in
engine cooling system ducts.
Clean the ducts using proper
cleaning methods.
