Rebuilding a Logical Drive on a Mirrored Array 

 

This section explains the process of replacing a failed drive that was part of a Mirrored array.   

The replacement drive will be rebuilt by reconstructing the data from an existing Mirrored drive. 
This function only applies to the disk drives with redundancy, namely RAID 1 and RAID 0+1.   

 
 
 
 

Before Rebuilding the Logical Drive: 

 
 

1.  Before you begin rebuilding a logical drive, you must install the “RAID Utility” from the
