3.1.2.3. Limit Thermostat
For ALDENS 65 L/T models, the limit thermostat is located on the outlet pipe branch from the heat
exchanger. For ALDENS 85-105-130-150 L/T models the limit thermostat is located on the front side
(user side) of the heat exchanger.

The need for the limit thermostat is to increase the heat exchanger burner door insulation’s servive
life. It also prevents rapid aging of the gasket material due to disassembling and assembling of the
burner door for maintenance and/or misaligned (imperfect) docking of the burner door on the heat
exchanger combustion chamber entrance. The activation temperature of the limit thermostat is 260
± 15°C.
The component can be purchased via the Alarko Carrier authorised services as a spare part.
Due to the service’s decision, it may be resetted and used again if there is no kind of malfunction
