3.2.3 Network Setup
It is possible to obtain IP address automatically from DHCP Server or IP Router, or
to
set
a
specific IP address. Check
your network environment
as to which type of setup you need.

DHCP On: You can use this option when it is
necessary
to obtain
an
IP address automatically from
a
DHCP Server or
IP Router.

DHCP Off: When it is not possible to obtain IP address automatically or you connect to your PC directly without DHCP Server
or IP Router, you
need
to use this option. Just
enter a
IP address and Subnet mask.
‘DHCP On’ Setup Procedure
①
Turn on
the
MG-45 and press [SETUP] in
the
Mode
Selection screen.
②
Go
to
the
‘Network’ icon and press [ENTER].

Setup box will be displayed under
the
icon menu.

Go
to DHCP On and press [ENTER].
④
Finally, press [SETUP] again
to
sav
e
the
configuration.

Check ‘IP address obtained automatically’
When you use
"
DHCP On,
"
you can see the IP
address
on the
MENU screen after selecting
[PC-
Network] icon
on the
Mode Selection screen.
