2.1 Connect
the
LAN Cable
How to connect a computer directly to the
MG-45
. C
onnecting
via
IP Router or Hub
Connect
a
LAN cable to
a
LAN port between
the MG-45
and
the
PC. In this case, you
usually have
to use
a
"Crossed LAN" or "twisted Pair" type LAN cable.
Connect
a
LAN cable to LAN port
via a
IP
Router or Hub.
[TIP] If the computer’s LAN card
is
connected
a
cable modem
,you can
fit an
additional LAN
card to your PC and connect that additional LAN
card to
the
MG-45.
In this case, you have to use
"
Direct
"
or "Standard" LAN Cable.
2.2 Set
ting
Network Configuration
.
After connecting
the
LAN cable, you have to set
the
network configuration of
both the
Computer and
the
MG-45.
You need to share a folder
on the
Windows computer and use same ‘IP Address range’ and
the
same ‘Subnet Mask ‘ between
the
Windows computer and MG-45. For example,
Computer MG-45
IP Address 192.168.1.2 192.168.1.3
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 255.255.255.0
*It is possible to assign IP address and
the
Subnet Mask of
the
MG-45 as dynamic or static.
