8 Using Multis

About Multi Mode

This chapter explains how to create and edit Multis in Multi mode.

Selecting Multis

Multis are selected as follows.

Press the MULTI button.

The MULTI button indicator lights up and the SELECT page appears.

Use the JOG dial to select a Multi.

If there are no Multis in memory, the message “(no multi)” appears, as shown below.

If you want to view a list of Multis in memory, press the WINDOW button.

The Multi List window appears, as shown below.

The Multis in memory are listed in the order of their MIDI Program Change number,
which is displayed next to each Multi name.

Use the JOG dial to select a Multi, then press “SELECT.”

Only Multis already in memory can be selected. To select a Multi stored on a storage
device, you must load it first. See “Loading” on page 18 for more information.
