DECT
REPEATER
DECT
Repeaters
are
used
to
extend
the
wireless
coverage
area
in
a
DECT
network.
The
DECT
Repeater
provides
a
larger
geographical
spread
of
the
traffic
channels
and
increases
the
coverage
area
but
it
does
not
increase
the
number
of
channels
available.
The
DECT
Repeater
is
normally
used
in
areas
with
limited
coverage
e.g.
long
hallways,
stairwells
and
corridors.
DECT
Repeaters
are
available
with
either
2
or
4
voice
channels.
The
Repeater
is
wireless
with
no
connection
to
the
DECT
Server
or
Base
Station;
however,
it
does
need
connection
to
a
battery
backed
power
supply.
