The arm 2 of the 12 MY spray boom is opened at the same time as the arm 1 by the wire rope (1),
which is why you should check its tension from time to time. The wire rope is strained correctly, if the
tensioning bolt comes out of the adjustment screw by 2-4 mm when the spray boom is in the working
position. The tensioner is designed to move the boom in the horizontal position when the spray boom
is closed.

HYDRAULIC LEVELLING (OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT)
The hydraulic levelling mechanism is designed to facilitate your work during spraying, since you can
adjust the tensioner length (in this case, the hydraulic cylinder length) during driving (spraying), which
adjusts the tilt of the trapeze suspension on the spray boom.
This can have a considerable impact on the linear distribution of spray and the quality of spraying.
This system is particularly recommended for uneven or sloping terrains, where the tensioners require
adjustment at every turn (Figure 15.1- 2). To operate the hydraulic levelling mechanism, select the
levelling on the control panel and use the valve lever in the tractor to move it according to the treated
area.
15.4
SPRAYING EQUIPMENT 12MY-H
With the exception of some improvements, the structure of the 12 MY-H spray boom is the same as
the structure of 12 MY boom, described above. Hydraulic adjustments of the spray boom are
controlled through hydraulic solenoid valve and the control panel.
The spray boom features a safety system to prevent the arms from opening or closing when the spray
boom is adjusted to the transport height. This is provided by the hydraulic valve through a wheel
mechanism. The hydraulic valve with an integrated wheel travels along the guide. The shape of the
guide is designed to activate and release the oil flow through the hydraulic valves and into the control
valves for opening, closing and levelling of the spray boom.
WARNING: Make sure there are no people in the operating area when the spray
boom is opened!
WARNING:
Only open the spray boom when the tractor is immobilised. If the
boom is opened during transportation, this could cause damage to individual spray
boom components or other objects in the vicinity!
