5. Maintenance:
Diesel Engine
Apart from observing all operating in-
structions, it is also important to pay at-
tention to the following maintenance and
service instructions.
Please note:

Only carry out all mainte-
nance and service work when
the engine switched off and
the spark plug connector discon-
nected.
Engine
Check oil level
l
each time you take up operation
and after every 8 operating hours,
l
only with engine switched off and
tractor in horizontal position.
l
Remove the oil dip-stick and clean it
with a clean cloth and put it back into
the oil tank.
l
Take the dip-stick out and read the
oil level.
l
In case the oil level is below the “min”
mark, refill engine oil (refer to “Specifi-
cations”) until oil level reaches the “max”
mark on the dip stick.
Changing Engine Oil
The first oil change is after 25 oper-
ating hours. Following oil changes are
after 50 operating hours. Change the oil
while the engine is still warm, but not
hot – danger of burns!

Clean the oil plug (F/2 and H/2) and
surrounding parts.
l
Remove oil plug.
l
Clean the drain plug (4) and its sur-
rounding parts.
l
Remove the drain plug. Collect the
draining oil in a proper container and
dispose of properly.
l
Tighten drain plug well (check o-ring
for good condition (3) and exchange it,
if necessary).
l
Fill in fresh engine oil (refer to chap-
ter “Specifiactions”) until the oil level
reaches the “max.” mark on the oil dip-
stick.
l
Re-tighten the oil plug.
