Diesel Engine

Crankcase Ventilation
The crankcase ventilation system is lo-
cated in the engine oil plug (F/2 and H/
2). It needs cleaning each time the en-
gine oil is changed. Check o-ring and
replace it, if necessary.
Engine Oil Filter
Change engine oil filter (F/7 and H/7)
the first time after 25 operating hours,
then after every 100 operating hours as
you change oil.

Drain engine oil (refer to “Oil
Change”).
l
Open plug (4).
l
Remove oil filter (1) with pressure
spring (2).
l
Insert new oil filter with pressure
spring (ensure correct position).
l
Install plug with new o-ring (3) and
tighten.
Oil Bath Air Filter
Clean air filter (G/10 and J/9) after 25
operating hours at the latest or at least
after 3 months. When working in ex-
tremely dusty conditions, clean after a
few hours.

Clean the outside of the air filter and
surrounding parts.
l
Open circlip, take off oil pot (W/5),
remove old oil and clean oil pot.
l
Wash filter cartridge (W/1 and W/4)
in oil pot by dipping it into diesel fuel
(no petrol) and spin dry.
l
Fill oil pot with engine oil (approx. 0.2
l) up to holes of the ring which is inserted
in the oil pot.(Do not fill in more.) Then
re-attach oil pot.
l
Make sure pot sits tight.
