5. When ignition has been obtained, allow the burner to run for about 3 minutes. Adjust the gas pressure
regularly to desired temperature rise.
6. After the burner ignites, adjust the thermostat to desired temperature.

Adjust the thermostat to the desired setting. This will be the upper limit of the output temperature of
the heater. For detailed instruction on setting the thermostat, see the thermostat instruction manual
supplied with the heater.

• Press the menu button to access the settings screen on the controller. Use the up and down arrows to
navigate through the menu.
• When displaying the setting you want to change, press the menu button again then use the arrows to
change the value.
• To return to the main menu, press the up and down button simultaneously.
• The controller will automatically decide on whether it is on a heating or cooling cycle based on how the on
and off points are set.
• The basic menu is mainly used to quickly edit the on and off temperature.
• See the thermostat instruction manual supplied with the controller for a full list of parameter codes as well
as for more in-depth instruction (Page 12 for codes).

• To view the menu settings, hold the menu button for 5 seconds.
• The plus and minus buttons alter the value of the item. A momentary press of the menu button will cycle to
the next menu item.
• The controller will cycle through all the menu items, then it will return to the main screen. If a menu item is
changed but the controller is left without returning to the main screen for 10 minutes, any changes will be
lost.
