PERATION
The instrument is turned ON by pressing the green
button. The startup screen
will appear and indicate the instrument’s software version and serial number.
If there is no AC power supply, the instrument will operate on batteries. The
instrument’s batteries are charged when it is connected to a 120/240; 60/50Hz line.
The instrument is turned OFF by pressing the green
button. Confi rmation will
be asked, if the instrument is recording or detecting transients.
NOTE:
The current probes connected are identifi ed at power ON only.
When changing type of probe, restart the PowerPad™.
4.1 Instrument
Confi guration (set-up mode)
NOTE:
All confi gurations are available through the DataView
®
software.
The instrument must be confi gured the fi rst time it is used
and then
whenever necessary, should your needs change. The confi guration is
saved in the non-volatile memory when the instrument is turned OFF.
When the
key is pressed, the following setup choices appear:
