flickering

The disc is dirty.
Remove the disc from the disc tray and clean
the disc.
The disc is scratched.
Use a different disc.
The disc is warped.
The remote
does not work
There are no batteries in the remote.
Insert 2 batteries into the battery compart-
ment.
The batteries have run out.
Replace both batteries.
The remote is not directly pointing at the
remote sensor on the front of the machine.
Point the remote directly at the remote sensor
on the front of the machine.
The remote is out of range of the machine.
The coverage of the remote is NO MORE THAN
7 METRES to the remote sensor on the front of
the machine.
The machine is locked.
Switch off the machine and disconnect it from
the mains. Then connect the machine again to
the mains and switch it back on.
