What to do if ...
Remedying Faults
In the event of a fault, try to solve the problem yourself with the aid of
the information provided here. If you call Customer Service to deal
with one of the faults listed here or to remedy an operating fault, the
customer service technician's visit will not be free of charge, even dur-
ing the warranty period.
• It the fault code
C1
or
C2
appears in the
multi-display, you may be able to remedy
the fault yourself (see the fault table
below). After remedying the fault, press the button START/PAUSE
(MARCHE/PAUSE). If the fault code is displayed again, please inform
the Customer Service.
• In the case of all other displayed faults (
C
and number or letter),
please inform the Customer Service and state the fault code.

The washing machine
does not work.
The mains plug is not
plugged in.
Plug in the mains plug.
The fuse of the building's
wiring is not in order.
Replace the fuse.
The filling door is not
correctly closed.
Close the filling door; The
lock must engage audibly.
The START/PAUSE
(MARCHE/PAUSE) button
was not pressed long
enough.
Press the START/PAUSE
(MARCHE/PAUSE) button
until the program starts.
The filling door cannot
be closed.
The child safety feature is
set.
Cancel the child safety
feature (see Section "Child
Safety Feature“).
Water is not running.
Error code

appears.
Water valve closed.
Open the water valve.
Filter in screw connection of
the intake hose blocked.
Close the water valve.
Unscrew the hose from the
tap, remove the sieve and
clean under running water.
Water valve. is blocked with
limescale or is faulty.
Check water valve. and have
it repaired if necessary.
