PICTURE
In the “picture“ menu set brightness, contrast, saturation and OSD
language. Use “Reset“ to reset all settings to the default values.
SYSTEM
Here set the picture mode. Set aspect ratio (16:9 and 4:3), vertical
display (“On” and “Off”) and volume.
NOTE:
Setting the volume to “0” mutes the AUDIO/VIDEO OUT connector.
About the DVD-Player
You may play back a multitude of data formats with the

However, please note that most DVDs are furnished with a so called
“regional code“. It determines for which world region the DVD is
designed. For example, DVDs with regional code ”1“ are designated
for the USA and Canada. DVDs marked with the regional code ”2“ are
designated for Europe.
NOTE:
You may only play back DVDs marked with regional code “2“ on the DVD-
Player. A multitude of burn and duplication procedures as well as different
levels of quality of (duplicated) CDs/DVDs are available. Additionally the
music industry does not adhere to a set duplication copyright. This is the
reason playback problems of CDs, DVDs and MP3 CDs may be experienced
in isolated cases. It is
not
a malfunction of the unit.
Further, in isolated cases problems in playing computer reproduced
CDs or DVDs. (i.e. vacation pictures). In the event of problems examine
the setting of the DVD-reproduction program on your computer.
Ensure that the DVD was finalized. Further information regarding this
subject is available in the operation manual of your recording device.
