Viewing Certain Area of Images
Digital zoom, area focus and 3D positioning allow you to get more details of certain part of images. Digital
zoom enlarges an image with loss in image quality, while 3D positioning enlarges an image without.
Using Digital Zoom
NOTE!
The supported live view operations may vary with camera model. For the operations that your camera
supports, see the Web interface.

In the
Live View
page, click
on the toolbar.

Click and hold the mouse button, and then drag from top down (draw a rectangle) to specify an area.
To restore the original image size and zoom in on other areas of the image, right-click the mouse.

Video Playback and Download with Edge Storage

Edge storage refers to recording video to the memory card of a frontend device (mostly a camera). Local
recording refers to recording video to a local PC client.

Before you play back video with edge storage, check that the camera has been installed with a memory card
and storage has been configured.
