Operation

PREPARING TO INSTALL THE UNIT

Spacing and Mounting Requirements

For proper cooling, mount the unit so that there is 13 mm (0.51″) minimum clearance
on the right side of the unit and 102 mm (4″) minimum clearance at the rear. Any
blockages could cause overheating to occur.

For rack installation, ensure that there are supports at the front and the rear of the
unit. Do not use the rack ears to support the weight of the unit.

The lifting brackets can be removed before installation if you do not need them. Use
care when removing them as the edges can be sharp.
