Speedsystem einstellen

Der Speed Performance
Indicator (SPI) liefert dir einen

Anhaltspunkt, wo du dich auf

der Geschwindigkeitspolare
befindest und ob du symme-
trisch beschleunigst. Zudem
hilft er dir, dein Speedsystem
einzustellen. Stelle die Länge der
Beschleunigerleinen so ein, dass
du den vollen Beschleunigerweg
ausnutzen kannst und der rote
Indikator beim Durchdrücken
der zweiten Beschleunigerstufe

100% anzeigt. Daraus ergibt sich,

dass in der ersten Stufe ca. die
50-%-Position erreicht wird.

ACHTUNG: Achte unbedingt
darauf, dass der Fussbeschleu-

niger nicht zu kurz eingestellt
und dein Schirm im Flug nicht
vorbeschleunigt ist.

Réglage de l’accélérateur

Le Speed Performance
Indicator (SPI) te fournit une
indication sur le rapport entre
ta zone d’accélération et la
polaire de ton aile, et il te
permet également de voir si
tu appliques une pression
symétrique sur l’accélérateur.
Il t’aide aussi à configurer ton
accélérateur. Règle la longueur
de tes cordes d’accélérateur
de façon à pouvoir utiliser la
course entière, et vérifies que
l’indicateur rouge est à 100%
quand tu appuies à fond sur
le second barreau. Ce réglage
devrait correspondre au premier
barreau quand tu es à 50%.

ATTENTION : Assure-toi que les
cordes de l’accélérateur ne sont

pas réglées trop court sinon
l’aile sera constamment accélé-
rée en vol normal.

Speedsystem adjustment

The Speed Performance

Indicator (SPI) gives you an
indication of the relationship
between your accelerate range
and your wing’s polar curve, and
it also indicates whether your
speedbar/loop application is
symmetrical. It also helps you
set up your speed system. Set
the length of your speed lines so
that you can use the full travel
of the speed system, and that
the red indicator shows 100%
when the second rung of the
speedbar/loop is fully extended.

This setting should arrange

that the first rung reaches
approximately the 50% position.

CAUTION: Make absolutely
sure that the speed lines are
not adjusted so short that the
wing would be permanently
accelerated in normal flight.
