The Award Plug and Play BIOS has the capacity to automatically configure
all of the boot and Plug and Play compatible devices. However, this
capability means absolutely nothing unless you are using a Plug and Play
operating system such as Windows
®

choose specific resources by going into each of the sub menu that follows
this field (a sub menu is preceded by a

The choice: Auto (ESCD), Manual.
IRQ Resources:
When resources are controlled manually, assign each system interrupt a
type, depending on the type of device using the interrupt.
DMA Resources:
When resources are controlled manually, assign each system DMA channel
a type, depending on the type of device using the DMA channel.
PCI / VGA Palette Snoop:
This item is designed to overcome problems that can be caused by some
nonstandard VGA cards. This board includes a built-in VGA system that
does not require palette snooping so you must leave this item disabled.
The choice: Enabled, Disabled.
Assign IRQ For VGA:
This item allows BIOS to assign whether IRQ is with VGA or not. If you have
not connected the VGA device, you can release the IRQ for other device.
The choice: Enabled, Disabled.
Assign IRQ For USB:
This item allows BIOS to assign whether IRQ is with USB or not. If you have
not connected the USB device, you can release the IRQ for other device.
The choice: Enabled, Disabled.
