The main screen
configuration
dialog box should now be open, this is
where the majority of the screen
configuration
is done.
It has a number of tabs, the “Sending Board” tab which is the
configuration
for the MCTRL300 (Processor) unit, the “Scan Board” tab
which is the
configuration
for the receiving card inside the panel itself,
and the “Screen Connection” tab which
defines
how the panels are
cabled together.
The dialog is split into subsections, which are outlined with a light
grey box. It is important to understand that options inside these boxes
can be sent to the panels temporarily to test out options, before a
fi
nal save which sends all the
configuration
information to the panels.
The
fi
rst, and most important section of the “Sending Board” tab is the
display mode, this essentially sets the input resolution of the MCTRL300
unit. It is advisable to set the resolution of this to match that of
your video source. Once you have set the desired resolution - press
the “Set” button located next to those options and check that this is
the setting you wish to keep.
Only press the main “Save” button in the bottom right of the screen
once you are happy with the panel
configuration,
as this action cannot
be undone.
Hot backup is used for adding a redundant MCTRL unit to the
configuration.
This is discussed in further detail later.
DO NOT USE FACTORY RESTORE BUTTON.
THIS CAN ONLY BE REPAIRED BY ADJ SUPPORT.
This option erases the
fi
les on both the sending and receiving cards
which are
specific
to ADJ products.
