ADE Applications

Three ADE applications are accessible from the desktop. They are:

The ADE SYSTEM CONTROLLER (CSA)

!

The STANDARD USER INTERFACE

!

The SYSTEM SHUTDOWN Application

The ADE SYSTEM CONTROLLER (CSA) and the SYSTEM SHUTDOWN Application

will appear as icons inside the ADE Tools

folder as shown below. The

STANDARD USER INTERFACE will launch when the ADE SYSTEM CONTROLLER
(CSA) is activated.

The ADE SYSTEM CONTROLLER (CSA) lets you reset the rtVAX 300 board
(located inside the controller chassis), start and stop ADE's wafer characterization
software and configure various aspects of the entire system. It also provides a
status log of messages which describe what the system is currently doing. The ADE
SYSTEM CONTROLLER (CSA) is the system software's coordinating
mechanism and must remain open when the STANDARD USER INTERFACE
is running.
