How to remove termination from a sign
1.
Remove power from the sign.
2.
Locate the sign’s controller cube (see “Internal view” on page 8).
3.
On the sign that needs termination removed, open the controller cube using one of these two methods:
•
Open the cube
from the back
(see “How to open a sign from the back” on page 32).
•
Open the cube
from the front
(see “How to open a sign from the front” on page 33).
4.
Remove the wire jumper that connects terminals #4 and #5 on connector P14 on the sign’s controller board
(see Figure 6 on page 35).
NOTE:
To access the controller board, open the back of the cube, or remove all four LED modules from
the front of the cube (see “Opening a sign” on page 32).
Contact with high voltage
may cause death or serious

Always disconnect power to
unit prior to servicing.
