Opening a sign
How to open a sign from the back
Ordinary, controller board, and communication cubes (see “Internal view” on page 8) are all opened from the
back in the same way
1.
Remove power from the sign.
2.
Use a 5/32-inch hex tool to loosen the two screws on the back a cube:

Open the cube door:
Contact with high voltage
may cause death or serious
injury.
Always disconnect power to
unit prior to servicing.

Shown on the left is a sign’s
controller cube.
Open a sign door slowly. Otherwise
some of the cables attached to the
door may snap off.
