Mounting ATA Drives and Connecting Power
Cables
Each ATA drive must be mounted in an available drive bay inside
your computer (as shown in
Figure 2-4
) and connected to a power
cable from your computer’s power supply. Refer to your computer
and device documentation for instructions on installing devices
inside your computer.

The Adaptec ATA RAID 1200A supports up to four ATA drives in
