Problems:
Possible causes:
Solutions:
The meter does not read
Filter is clogged
Meter placed incorrectly
Electronic problem
Clean the filter
Check the direction arrow of the liquid on the flow
meter body; if the meter has been installed upside
down it won’t work
Contact the dealer, specifying the error code GF00
The display is not switching on Batteries flat
Batteries installed incorrectly
Replace the batteries (Chap. 8.1)
Position the batteries properly (Chap. 8.1)
Incorrect reading precision
Flow rate too low or too high
Incorrect calibration
Air inside the system
check the technical specifications for the flow rate
limits (Chap. 12.2)
Follow the procedure for a new calibration (Chap. 6.2)
Check for any air intake leaks and make sure the
pump does not draw in air
8 - MAINTENANCE
8.1 Replacing the batteries
Displaying the parameters:
If
and
are pressed simultaneously for 2 seconds, the system will run a test on the LCD
display. It will then provide the following information in succession:
1. product name: ”DI FLOW”
2. Firmware version: “r1.0”
3. Current unit of measurement: “Unit”“Litres”
4. Current calibration factor (pul/l): “CAL” “40.00”
5. Supply voltage in Volts: “bat Vol” “2.79” (if the value is < than 2.8V, otherwise the word “FULL” is dis
-
played).
6. Remaining battery charge percentage: “bat Per” “52.95” (displayed only if the supply voltage is < 2.8
Volt). If the supply voltage reaches < 1.5 Volt, the battery symbol will appear flashing on the bottom right.
Below 0.6V the display will no longer be visible and the batteries will have to be replaced.
How to replace the batteries:
1. Remove the 4 screws from the front of the flow meter
2. Replace the 2 batteries with 2 AAA 1.5 V alkaline batteries, being careful to follow the + and - signs
3. Place the body on the cover, taking care to not damage the connection wires.
4. Put the 4 screws back in and tighten.
8.2 Cleaning
To clean the filter the meter has to be removed from the line on which it is installed because the filter is
between the device’s body and the flange connecting it to the pipe. It can nevertheless be cleaned for the
first time by removing and cleaning the drain plug on the underside of the meter’s body.
To see the exact position of the filter and the drain plug, see the exploded view drawings (Chap. 12.1).
How to clean the filter:
1.
Access the G-Flow filter disc by unscrewing the two screws holding the inlet flange to the meter.
2.
Remove the meter from the line, paying attention to the gaskets between the flanges and the meter’s
