10.2 Decommissioning of the separator
plant
CAUTION
During decommissioning it must be guaranteed that wastewater may no
longer enter.
Sequence of decommissioning:
1. Pull Euro plug of alarm device (if available) out of power socket and make sure it
cannot be reinserted.
2. Disposal of separator contents.
3. Clean float and coalescence insert.
4. Replenish separator plant with clear water.
10.3 Stop separator plant
CAUTION
During stopping of plant it must be guaranteed that wastewater may no
longer enter.
Sequence of stopping
1. Pull Euro plug of alarm device (if available) out of power socket and make sure it
cannot be reinserted.
2. Dismantle alarm device.
3. Disposal of separator contents.
4. Dismantle separator plant.
10.4 Disposal
The light liquid separator partly consists of recyclable materials.
CAUTION
An inappropriate disposal endangers the environment. Regional disposal
regulations must be adhered to.

Furnish coalescence mat to special waste disposal

Separate all steel components and recycle as steel scrap
■
Separate all rubber components and recycle
■
Furnish alarm device to recycling as electronic scrap
