8.2.2 Works upon requirement

Disposal of sediments upon reaching 50 % of the sludge volume
Recommendation
Disposal by expert disposal contractor
On the disposal date it must be ensured that no wastewater may
enter the plant during disposal. Often, breakdowns or work-free
days are used.
CAUTION
Prior to disposal, take coalescence insert and float out of plant. The max.
weight is app. 12 kg. Then, the sediments can be removed either through the mainte-
nance opening or at relevant disposal connection in the case of -RD design.
