AFTER THE FIRST 25 HOURS:
CHANGE THE LUBRICATING OIL COMPLE-
TELY (FIG. 16).
Oil change:
- Clean area around oil drain and fi ll plugs
- Remove the oil drain and fi ll plugs
- Change the oil when the engine is warm for
complete drainage
- Install the drain plug back in and tighten it.
- Fill the crankcase with the prescribed oil
and put the fi ll cap back in. Wipe clean any
spilled oil.
OIL SUMP CAPACITY: 0,6 L.
The used oil should be poured into the sealed
containers and delivered to disposal/recycle
centers.
EVERY 50 HOURS:
Change the oil in
the crankcase com-
pletely (fi g. 16).
Clean the fuel fi lter (fi g. 15). Check if the
cooling fi ns are clean (fi g. 17).
EVERY 100 HOURS:
Cooling system clea-
ning (fi g. 17).
Check the condition of the spark plug (fi g.
18).
- Remove the air cooling duct and the fl ywheel
cover, clean the head and cylinder fi ns by
removing the debris.
Clean everything more frequently if debris
is eccessive.
- Remove and inspect the spark plug. Clean
it with a wire brush, check the gap between
the electrodes - this should be 0,6-0,7 mm
(.024 - .028 in).
In case of worn electrodes or damaged
insulation material, replace the spark plug
with another one in the same heat range and
reach (see SUGGESTED SPARK PLUGS).
Before replacing the spark plug pour a drop
of oil on the thread. Install the spark plug and
tighten it to 1,5 Kgm (11 Ft-Lbs.).
SUGGESTED SPARK PLUGS:
CHAMPION RL 86 C
BOSCH WR 10 AC
NGK BR 4 HS
EVERY 400 HOURS:
Change the spark
plug, check the
valve clearance
which has to be 0.10
÷ 0.15 mm (.004
÷ .006 in) for both
intake and exhaust
with engine cold (fi g.
19).
EVERY 1500 HOURS:
Overhaul the engine
checking cylinder,
piston rings, con-
