Answering

machine

Recording of announcements

This is where it is possible, to record your individual message text. This message will
then be heard by your callers. You may record two different message texts and one
“only message text”. After the “only message text” no message can be left by your
callers. This message text is for information only. A typical “only message text” would
be eg “This is company xy. Our telephone number has changed. Please dial...”
But it is also possible, to record another text to be heard by the caller after his mes-
sage (end message text). A typical end message text would be eg “Thank you very
much for your message. I will call back”.

In menu “Answering machine”:

Press Number key 5. You are now in
menu “Announcements”.

Record message text 1 after lifting the
receiver. The message may be timed
between 6 and 30 seconds.

Place receiver on hook, to complete the

recording. After 60 seconds it will be
terminated automatically. Afterwards the
message will be repeated automatically
again. You have thus recorded your
individual message text

IMPORTANT NOTE!

Same procedure for announcement 2, “only announcement” and end messa-
ge.

•

The “only announcement” message may be timed between 6 and 60 seconds.

•

The end announcement can be timed between 0 and 20 seconds.
