by entering the Windows menu: [Start] [All
Programs] [HighPoint] [HighPoint ATA
RAID Management Software].

pops up.
BIOS Setup for RAID
For further information on RAID concept, you
can find it on the “
Technological Terms
” from
our WEB site, or you can search the related
information on the Internet.
This motherboard supports the RAID operation
of “
Striping (RAID 0)
”, “
Mirroring (RAID
1)
”, or “
Striping/Mirroring (RAID 0+1)
”. For
the striping operation, the identical drives can
read and write data in parallel to increase
system performance. The Mirroring operation
creates a complete backup of your files. Striping
with Mirroring operation offers both read/write
performance and fault tolerance.
After completed the installation of HPT37X
driver, you have to enable the RAID function in
BIOS setup menu. Enter the “
Advanced BIOS
Features
” in the BIOS setup menu. Change the
settings of “ First Boot Device ”, “ Second Boot
Device ” and “ Third Boot Device ” to
“
ATA133RAID
”. See the figure below:
NOTE: The option of “SCSI” cannot be worked
as a booting device if this “ATA133RAID” had
been selected as booting device, and vice versa.
