2.4 Obligations of the operator
• Store the operating instructions within easy reach of the machine for reference and enclose them when passing on the
product.
• Ensure that all employees who work with the machine have read and understand these instructions. Furthermore,
personnel must be trained regularly and instructed on the risks involved.
• Commissioning, machine operation, and maintenance work may be carried out only by qualified personnel. Qualified
personnel are people who, based on their special training, knowledge, and experience, are able to assess the tasks
assigned to them and identify possible dangers.
• Ensure that you comply with the maintenance intervals described in these instructions and that you check all safety
devices regularly to ensure their proper function and comprehensiveness.
• Keep unauthorized persons out of the work area.
• Please observe the occupational health and safety regulations of the relevant country.
• Ensure the work area is well lit and kept clean.
• Occupational health and safety regulations of the relevant country, for example, in Germany: Observe the
Arbeitsschutzgesetz (Occupational Health and Safety Act) and Betriebssicherheitsverordnung (Ordinance on Industrial
Safety and Health).
• Observe the national laws and regulations on occupational safety and accident prevention.
• The machine should always be secured from falling.
• Ensure that personnel operating the machine are trained in first aid and are aware of local emergency services.
2.5 Personal protective equipment (PPE)
To prevent danger to the user, these instructions recommend the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
This consists of protective clothing, safety goggles, a class P3 respiratory mask, protective gloves, and safety shoes.
2.6 Information about these instructions
These instructions assist in the safe and efficient use of the machine and its components. The instructions are part of the
machine and must be stored in close proximity to the machine so that they can be accessed at all times by personnel.
This documentation contains information required for the proper use of the described machine. It addresses technically
trained personnel who have been trained specifically for the operation, quality assurance, maintenance and repair of the
machine.
Personnel must carefully read and understand these instructions before commencing work. To ensure safe working conditions,
compliance with all specified safety instructions and operating procedures described in this manual must be guaranteed.
Technically correct implementation of manufacturing processes and the implementation of instructions, safety regulations,
safety guidelines, and warnings in this manual are requirements for ensuring safety during operation, maintenance, and
repair. Only qualified personnel have the required expertise to correctly implement and observe the safety regulations, safety
guidelines, and warnings presented in this manual on a case-by-case basis.
Furthermore, local accident prevention regulations and general safety regulations apply to the applications in which the
machine is used.
Illustrative figures in these instructions are intended to support basic understanding and can differ from actual version.
In addition to these instructions, the instructions for integrated components found in the annex also apply.
These operating instructions cannot take into consideration every possible repair scenario. If you require additional
