6 Ethernet communications
Ethernet and email menus are enabled only if an Ethernet
communications module is fitted.
6.1 Ethernet connection
Referring to Fig. 6.1:
1.
Isolate the transmitter from the power supply.
2.
Using a suitable screwdriver, release transmitter door
retaining screw

and open the door.
3.
Unscrew terminal cover screw

and remove terminal
cover.
4.
Route ethernet cable through a suitable cable entry
hole

5.
Connect ethernet cable plug to socket on ethernet
board

6.
Refit terminal cover and secure with screw

7.
Close transmitter door and secure with door retaining
screw

8.
Restore the transmitter's power supply.

Gateway (router or switch) used to
