Troubleshooting
This section concerns all Magne 3 and 4.
LED indication
Supposed cause of fault
Check and rectify
No LED light
No voltage supply.
Check +24 VDC/0 V voltage supply.
Blue (blinking)
Anchor missing or not
centered.
Check anchor position.
Blue (rapid blinking)
Overcurrent on attempted
locking.
Unit needs replacing.

This section concerns Magne 4 X-DYN, Magne 4 DYN-Info
LED indication
Supposed cause of fault
Check and rectify
Shines red
Eva away from Adam.
Move Eva within sensory range of Adam.
Metal between Eden sensors.
Remove metal.
Weak light or green
and red showing at
same time
Unit is defective.
Unit needs replacing.
Contact ABB Jokab Safety.
Green and red light
alternating rapidly
Valid Eva code missing
Perform procedure to replace Eva. If it still does not
work, the unit is defective and must be replaced.
Alternating green and
red light
Dynamic signal in missing
Check previous unit.
This section concerns Magne 4 OSSD Info
LED indication
Supposed cause of fault
Check and rectify
Shines red
Eva away from Adam.
Move Eva within sensory range of Adam.
Metal between Eden sensors.
Remove metal.
Lights green (but no
dynamic signal
detected)
Defective dynamic input
signal to unit (asymmetrical
pulses).
Check the dynamic signal to the unit before this in the
safety circuit.
Weak light or green
and red showing at
same time
Unit is defective.
Unit needs replacing.

Green and red light
alternating rapidly
Valid Eva code missing
Perform procedure to replace Eva. If it still does not
work, the unit is defective and must be replaced.
Blinking red/red/green
light
Defective input signal
Restart voltage cycle, if fault recurs, check incoming
signals.
Warning
A defective unit should be replaced with a new unit.
Never
bypass the safety circuit.
