Safety
This instrument has been manufactured in accordance with state-of-the-art procedures; it is
operationally safe. It has been tested and left the factory in perfect working condition. The information
in this guide, as well as all applicable documentation and certificates, must be observed and followed
to maintain this condition throughout the period of operation.
This chapter provides an overview of the safety conditions that must be observed when installing and
operating the instrument. Full compliance with all general safety requirements must be observed during
instrument operation. For personnel and system safety, and to ensure optimum performance, make sure
that you thoroughly understand the content of this guide before installing, using and maintaining the
instrument, and carefully plan any installation, modification, or repair before actually proceeding.
Additionally, each chapter in this guide contains descriptions of processes or procedural instructions
with their own specific safety information. Only by observing all safety information can you minimize
