Installing the LWT

To connect the LWT instrument:

Remove the temporary plastic cap from the most convenient of the two electrical connection ports
(see Figure 20 on page 29).
WARNING
In the particular case of explosion proof installations, remove the temporary plastic
caps and close the unused opening with a cap certified and appropriately rated for
explosion containment.

Make sure that the M4 hex head locking screws are screwed in (see Figure 10).

Remove the housing cover on the “terminals” side (see Figure 20 on page 29).
WARNING
Do not handle the instrument by the threaded interface. Threaded edges are sharp and
could cause personal injuries.
NOTICE
After an interval of several weeks, increased force will be required to remove the
housing cover. This situation is normal; it is caused by the type of gasket used.

Route the connection cable through the cable gland and the open electrical connection port. For
more details, see also Figure 19 on page 28.
