Dip Switch
Hardware switch.
IdentNo Selector
There is a 10-position DIP switch in the transmitter. It can be
accessed after opening the cover of the housing. The switch
position is displayed on the device in the data link submenu. It
can also be read via the FF communication in the transducer
block. An open switch is shown as – while a closed switch as x.
The following switches are assigned:Switch 1 = Simulate Enable
off = Simulation mode disable on = Simulation Mode enabled.
Switch 2 = Write Protect Off = Simulation Mode disabled on =
Write protect enabled. ‘Simulation mode enabled’ only allows you
to run a AI block simulation. The simulation is switched on/off via
the ‘Simulate’ parameter. ‘Write protect enabled’ prevents
overwriting of block parameters. Switches 3-10 have no function.
