Totalizer reset
Ext. cut-off
Ext. Syst. NP.
The contact input function is not displayed for PROFIBUS PA or
FOUNDATION Fieldbus.
Selection of the function for switch input terminals 81/82.
‘Totalizer Reset’ resets the internal totalizer and counter
overflows by connecting a switching voltage. For ‘Ext. Zero
Return’ all outputs are switched off, if a switching voltage is
connected. Example of use: undefined filled meter tube condition
after turning off pumps or cyclic cleaning or flushing procedures,
the measured values of which must be hidden.
Select ‘Ext. Syst. NP’ to adjust the system zero point. The fluid
must be at absolute standstill during the adjustment. The
message ‘Warning 13’ is displayed during the adjustment.

The switching behavior for the contact outputs (terminal 41/42)
can be selected as normally open (/_ _) or normally closed (_ _).
For the ‘General Alarm’ all detected errors (0 - 6, A, B, C, D, E, F, G)
are signaled via the terminals. Select “Ext. Diag. Alarm” to signal
only diagnosis errors that have occurred. If you want to report a
low flow condition, select ‘Min Alarm’. Similarly, a high flow
condition is signaled with ‘Max Alarm’. If the signal is set for
‘Max/Min Alarm’, then a signal is sent over the terminals when
the flow rate is above or below the range between the ‘Max-
Alarm’ value and the ‘Min-Alarm’ value, i.e., when the flow rate is
larger than the ‘Max-Alarm’ value or less than the ‘Min-Alarm‘
value.
