Replacing the cooling fan, frames R1…R3

WARNING!

Stop the drive and do the steps in section

Electrical safety precautions (page 18)

before you start the work.

Use a suitable flat screwdriver to open the fan cover.

3.

Carefully lift the fan cover out of the drive. The fan cover holds the cooling fan.

Remove the fan power cable from the cable slot in the drive.

5.

Disconnect the fan power cable.

Free the fan clips and remove the fan from the fan cover.
