• Fill the unit’s water tank only with special ironing water that you can find on any large
surface.
• Always check first if there is an ironing instructions label attached to the unit. Follow
these ironing instructions in any case.
• The unit heats up faster than it cools down, therefore you should start ironing items
that require the lowest temperature, such as synthetic fiber items.
• If the fabric consists of several types of fibers, you must always select the first ironing
program from the temperature dial, to iron the composition of these fibers.
• Silk and other fabrics capable of acquiring shine must be ironed on the inside.
• Velvet and other textures that quickly become shiny should be ironed in one direction
only with light pressure with the ironing unit. Always keep the ironing unit moving at
all times.
• Pure wool (100% wool) fabrics can be ironed in steam ironing mode. Select the second
program (WOOL) on the temperature dial and use a dry cloth as a mat.
• Never iron over the riveted zipper on the fabric, this will damage the ceramic base. Iron
around any such object..
