1.7  Front/Rear Panel Connectors

The CPCI-7806/CPCI-7806RC provides front panel access for both PMC 
expansion sites, two 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, one serial port, the manual reset 
switch and the status LEDs. A drawing of the CPCI-7806/CPCI-7806RC 
front panel is shown in 

Figure 1-3

. The front panel connectors and indicators are 

labeled as follows:

The CPCI-7806/CPCI-7806RC provides rear I/O support for the following: VGA, 
Serial ATA port, LVDS, COM1/COM2, Keyboard/Mouse, PMC I/O for one 
expansion site, IDE drive, floppy drive and two USB ports. These signals are 
accessed by the use of a rear panel transition board such as the ACC-0584/
ACC-0584RC, which terminates into industry standard connectors.

The front panel connectors, including connector pinouts and orientation, for the 
CPCI-7806/CPCI-7806RC are defined in 

“Connectors and Pinouts” on page 53

. 

Rear panel connections are defined in the appropiate rear panel transition board
