7.5 Removing the s-max from the wheelchair
Press the UP/DOWN switch
in the UP direction so that
the climbing leg moves
backwards and downwards in
the direction of the operator.
» The device and the
wheelchair are lifted.
Release the UP/DOWN switch
as soon as the wheelchair is
raised far enough to mount
the wheelchair wheels.
Attach the wheelchair wheels
and apply the parking brake.
Pull both securing pins out of
the upper brackets.
» When doing this, the release
pins must be pressed in.
Operate the UP/DOWN
switch in the DOWN direction.
Fully retract the climbing leg.
Drive the s-max away
backwards from the
wheelchair.
» If the s-max gets jammed
on the lower bracket when
it is extended, push the
handle slightly forward
several times and extend
the device further back.
