7.1 Introducing the s-max into the lower wheelchair bracket
To prevent the wheelchair
from rolling away, activate the
wheelchair's parking brakes.
Retract the climbing leg of the
s-max completely.
Tilt the s-max slightly
backwards and move it
towards the centre of the
back of the wheelchair.
Push the s-max forwards
until the lower mount is fully
inserted into the lower bracket
on the wheelchair.
7.2 Introducing the s-max into the upper wheelchair bracket
Set the lowest climbing
speed.
Operate the UP/DOWN
switch in the UP direction.
The climbing leg moves
backwards and downwards
towards the operator. The
device is lifted.
When the s-max has been
centred, the upper mount is
inserted into the claws of the
upper brackets.
» The adjusting rings then
lie against the inside of the
brackets.
