8.4 Moving on slopes

WARNING - For safety reasons, a second person should be present to help steer!

NOTE - Be sure to observe the safety instructions in chapter 8!

If necessary, pull the handles

out to shoulder height and fix

them with the locking knob.

Tilt the s-max.

» If necessary, use the

recommendation by the

manufacturer from chapter

8.3.

The climbing leg must be

completely retracted.

Approach the slope moving

forward.

To slow down, tilt the s-max

slightly stronger so that the

safety brakes can take effect.

Move backwards on the

slope.
