Deployment settings
Open the
Deployment Settings
from the
Menu
button. Select the
Wave and Tide Sensor
from the list of sensors, and
tap
Configure
in the lower part of the window.
The
Deployment Settings(
1/2)
holds a list of user defined input: owner, location, geographic position, vertical
position and reference.
The
Deployment Settings
(
2/2)
holds a list of fixed parameters that
must be valid at the deployment site (refer chapter 1.3 and 1.4 for a
short description):
•
Ambient Air Pressure
•
Local Gravity
•
Salinity
•
Distance to Seafloor
Type the value in the input field using keypad panel. The parameters
are used in calculating the wave and tide parameters.
At delivery, these parameters are set to 101.3 kPa (Ambient Air
Pressure), 9.81 m/s
2
(Local Gravity), 35.0 psu (Salinity), and 0 m
(Distance to Seafloor).
Press
Finish
to store the settings when complete.

Open
Administrative Tools
from the
Menu
button Select
User Maintenance
and then
Wave and Tide Sensor
from
the
sensor list
.
User Maintenance
you find properties that are password protected, and are
set/altered by the ‘advanced user’
, note! the password is: 1000
The properties in user maintenance are therefore
not changed during normal operation. The user maintenance holds four submenus:
