Sensor Configuration Wave and Tide sensor 5218

for a description of the sensor settings and the input parameters.
5.5.1
System configuration
Open the
System Configuration
from the
Menu
button. Select the
Wave and Tide Sensor
from the list of sensors,
and tap
Configure
in the lower part of the window.
The
System Configuration
holds output parameters which can be set by the user, refer
Select the property, and press
View/Edit
to set the
value. Tap
OK
to return to list.
Press
Finish
to store the measurement configuration or
Cancel
to continue
without storing.
For property
Enable High Sample Rate
, if you select
No
the sampling rate will be
2Hz. If
Yes
the sampling rate will be 4Hz.
For property
Enable Temperature
and
Enable Rawdata
. If set to
Yes
the
parameter will be included in the dataset, if set to
No
the data will not be stored
or displayed.

For property
Enable Tide
and
Enable Wave
. The sensor will act as a Pressure Sensor if both are set to
No.
If Enable
Tide is set to
Yes
and Enable Wave is set to no it will act a Tide Sensor. If both are set to Yes it will record all available
parameters for pressure, tide and wave.
For property
Tidal Average Period
will select the averaging interval for the tide measurements, select a period from
10 seconds to 8 minutes from the drop down menu
For property
Number of Samples
select the number of samples desired in one wave measurement from the drop
down menu.
