5.2 Set motor type

Power on

After the power is up, the PWR indicator is lit. If an alarm occurs,

please check the wiring.

Check the motor type

Check the parameter PA1 value, and find the motor type

corresponding to this parameter in the Motor selection guide. Check

whether the motor type connected to the drive is in accord with the one

above. If they are the same, go to the next step. If not the same, please

modify the motor type.

INSTRUCTIONS

The RT20 series servo drive can identify motor parameters for some motors from

several manufacturers automatically, and need to identify motor parameters through

codes for other manufacturers' motors. In the case that the two methods are not
