5 Using TMA Grand Master
3. Set database name, path, and type.
To export data to a new file (will be generated by the application), browse for the folder by
clicking
Browse
at the Database Name, Path, and Type section, type in a file name, and
finally, select the desired file format (ODS/XLS/XLSX/CSV).
NOTE:
Open file with the appropriate software, for example, use Excel to open file in XLS or
XLSX, or OpenOffice Calc to open file in ODS format.
4. Click
Save
to create the output file, or
Cancel
to exit the window without saving.
The generated spreadsheet contains three worksheets: the first one is the
Lookup
on which there are
six columns.
Unique TMA Sample ID
, which is the position of the tissue core in the recipient block,
the
TMA Block ID
if you are using several blocks in the same project, and the
Donor Block ID
. As the
TMA Module cannot handle special characters of
TMA Block ID
, fields of
TMA Block ID
column
contains automatically generated names that can be recognized and used by the TMA Module.
TMA
Block Name
as an extra column on the sheet contains Recipient names (may include special
characters). The depth values related to the specific donor blocks are listed under the
Donor Core
Height
column.
The
Donor Block Images
column lists image links (images stored in separate folders at the same
location as the spreadsheet file). Upon clicking a link on the Donor Block Images column the image of
the block is displayed in a separate window.
