Tessellate
To represent CAD surfaces in polygonal format.
Trapped Volume
During building, a volume of resin within the part that cannot flow out to the surrounding liquid.
Triangle normal
A line perpendicular to a triangle starting at its center and pointing away from the mass of the
part. Triangle normals are used to differentiate between inside and outside surfaces of a solid.
Ultraviolet (UV)
Electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength shorter than visible light, (i.e., below 390
nanometers).
Vector
A directed line segment represented by starting and ending coordinates as defined in a
stereolithography slice or build file.

The high powered personal computer with graphics capabilities, running the

Preparation Software
which creates the build files.
