Setting RSVP
Parameters
If you enable RSVP, you specify the following information:
■
The maximum total reservable bandwidth
■
The maximum per-reservation bandwidth
■
The policing option (
edge, always,
or
never,
with
edge
as the default)
■
The service level for excess/policed traffic (
best
or
low
, with
low
as the
default). This setting applies to the excess traffic with the reserved
bandwidth (that is, in which queue it should be placed).
■
Whether nonconforming excess are loss eligible (
yes
or
no,
with
no
as
the default)
After you enable RSVP, you can use your management interface (for
example, the Administration Console) to display summary or detail
information about RSVP.
