Monitoring VLAN
Statistics
When you display VLAN statistics, the system-generated statistics are
valid only under these conditions:
■
When the VLANs are defined for the same protocol type (or the type
unspecified)
and
do not have any overlapping ports (for example, an IP
VLAN1 with ports 1 – 6 and IP VLAN2 with ports 7 – 12).
■
If the VLANs are explicitly defined for different protocol types but may
have overlapping ports (for example, an IP VLAN and an IPX VLAN that
both use ports 2 – 4).
